Prioritizing and de-cluttering have made a huge difference for me. Being able to know what is important to do rather than having a list of things to do can help you be more effective and productive at the same time.
Nice, good points on Delegation… I’m terrible at that personally, but you’re right – play off a person’s strengths and they are generally very willing to jump in and assist!
Great post, useful tips. I especially loved your tips about decluttering your wardrobe and dressing for work. I find that perpetually challenging, so I’m always looking for good insight.
I’m glad some people found at least one of the tips useful. I think like Matt said, they are best used in conjunction with each other. Thanks again for the comments.
For me, it’s all about routine. It sounds boring but I do the same thing on the same day week after week (for instance, I do all the laundry on Sunday – every Sunday). This really helps me get the things done I need to do. There is a downside to routine is by its very nature it’s inflexible – so it can really throw you off once you stray. By the way, I also do a lot of “writing” in the shower!
Angela, that’s a great idea. I’m going to have to think of ways I can implement that better with my chores, like laundry. It’s hard to imagine having time every Sunday to get all my laundry done, but maybe it wouldn’t take as long if I didn’t let it pile up!
I’m glad someone else writes in the shower… I was wondering if that was weird of me. But I’m not alone, so we’re good.
I agree with your ‘declutter’ point. This goes for your work space and general living area too. I use to be such a pack rat, I hated throwing stuff away, but after I had a good toss out session my life was so much less stressed and complicated. If you don’t use it once every couple days, TOSS IT!

"There's no sugar coating in Monica's advice. She understands and outlines what works and doesn't, while she also leaves room to discuss the transient nature of social media."

I know people who keep dry erase markers in the shower just for that very reason. Good tips Mon.
Lol Kelli. Yeah, we kept them in our bathroom and decorated our walls when we lived on 5th floor Centennial. Good times! Miss you dearest.
